Namasthe Telangana is a registered Telugu language newspaper. It was launched on June 6, 2011.〔(Namaste Telangana launched | Business Standard )〕 〔(TRS to launch daily, 'Namaste T' - Times Of India )〕 The paper aims to mainly focus on politics and developments of Telangana State. The newspaper is owned by Telangana Publications Pvt. Ltd. Earlier CEO and senior journalist of the company Katta Shekar Reddy taken over as the editor of the paper. Chairman and managing director C. L. Rajam, who managed the paper successfully from October 2011 to 1 July 2014, handed over the reins again to Divakonda Damodar Rao, the founder and managing director of the paper. Former editor of the newspaper, the well-known journalist and columnist Allam Narayana, resigned from the post and joined as chairman, Telangana Press Academy. It is published in 10 districts of Telangana State: Adilabad, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Warangal, Khammam, Nalgonda, Medak, Ranga Reddy, Hyderabad, and Mahbubnagar. Namaste Telangana is empowering the Telangana activists on the agitation.
